Khadyachya Gauri

Some families worship Khadyachya Gauri. On the invocation day ladies get dressed up, get the five stone or pebbles from water side(a convenient place enabling people to take water form river or tank). Clean them with water, apply Haldi & Kumkum. They kept in a platter & brought in a pompous way. The lady holding the Gauris in hand is welcomed home by pouring warm water & milk on her feet. Haldi-Kumkum is applied on Gauris. These Gauri are kept beside of Lord Ganesha idol. Go-padme(foot prints of cow) are drawn by rangoli(white powder).

The first days offering is curd rice & vegetable of methi leaves with Bhakari(home made flat bread made up of jawar)

The second days offering is sweets(Kheer-puri, Puran poli), sixteen types of vegetables, Sweet rice, dal-rice.

People immerse the gauries along with Ganpati.
