Terdyachya Gauri

On the invocation day ladies from home get dressed up & pluck the tree or branch of Balsam tree, then put it in the kalash(metal pot on which the lines are drawn with wet kumkum & filled with water) bring them home in a pompous way. A married lady from the family or Kumarika performs the pooja of Balsam branch & both of them are move round in all the rooms & shown the important things to the gauries. Before invocation the footprints of the Gauri are to be drawn in entire house with rangoli, Kumkum & Haldi(turmeric). The footprints are drawn from the entrance of the house & follows in each room & near some special things like cupboard.

The first days offering is curd rice & vegetable of methi leaves with Bhakari(home made flat bread made up of jawar)

The second days offering is sweets(Kheer-puri, Puran poli), sixteen types of vegetables, Sweet rice, dal-rice.

People immerse they gauries along with the ganpati.
