If one has a desire
to achieve something,he trys to get that and puts maximum efforts to get it
, even the state of mind works in such a way that the person is able to achieve
it. The state of mind works in nine ways to achieve the desired thing.
Each type of experience shows faith and integrity for beloved thing. Susceptibility
for beloved thing is also called as Bhakti. How do these nine ways exactly work
? If someone likes something or any subject very much then one will listen about
that subject or if someone is discussing about the subject one will go there
and start participating in the discussion with interest.
The nine ways are discussed below.
1) Shravana
Bhakti
This is devotion by listening. A devotee who's heart is full with Lord Ganesha's
merits and qualities. One always thinks and listens about that and would like
to listen more about Lord Ganesha and always interested in listening anything
about Lord Ganesha. This is called as Shravana Bhakta. This kind of devotion
is called as Shravana Bhakti.
Sage Skand was Smarana Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.
2)
Kirtan Bhakti
This is devotion by narration punctuated by music. A devotee who is interested
in saying the grandeur or glory about Lord Ganesha through the narration punctuated
by music and who doesn't like to talk about any other thing. If devotee behaves
in this way is called as Kirtan Bhakta. Such type of devotion is called as Kirtan
Bhakti.
God Surya was Kirtan Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.
3)
Smarana Bhakti
This is devotion by recollection. A devotee who never forgets the duties of
Lord Ganesha's devotion, who is always alert about Lord Ganesha's likes and
dislikes. One who remembers the duties about Lord Ganesha's services when and
how one should carry out the duties called as Smarana Bhakta. Such type of devotion
is called as Smarana Bhakti.
God Rama was Smarana Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.
4)Pada-sevan
Bhakti
A devotee who is completely convinced about that the Lord Ganesha is the only
supreme God (Soul) or Total Universal Divine Knowledge and one can take shelter
for all the things to Lord Ganesha. This kind of devotion is called as Pada-sevan
Bhakti.
Goddess Parvati was Pada-sevan Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.
5) Archan
Bhakti
A devotee who never hesitate to spend money for worshipping Lord Ganesha according
to perfect precept and try to worship as said

VISHNU

A devotee will take extreme effort to collect the material for worshipping.
This kind of devotion is called as Archan Bhakti.
God Vishnu was Archan Bhakta of Lord Ganesha
6) Vandan
Bhakti
A devotee gets into the state where he feels by heart that the Lord Ganesha
is the most excellent or supreme among all the Gods. No one is like Lord Ganesha.
A devotee having this state of mind is called as Vandan Bhakta. Such type of
devotion is called as Vandan Bhakti.

7)Dasya
Bhakti
This is devotion by service. A devotee who follows the instructions said in
Veda's and Upanishadas as if those are the orders given by Lord Ganesha and
tries to do it with pride and obediently. This kind of devotee is called as
Dasya Bhakta & the devotion is called as Dasya Bhakti.
God Parshuram was Dasya Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.
8) Sakhya
Bhakti
A devotee who expresses ones thoughts to beloved Lord Ganesha, they may be good
or bad and believes that Lord Ganesha is the only savior. This kind of devotion
is called as Sakhya Bhakti.
God Brahma was Sakhya Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.

9) Atma-nivedan
Bhakti
A devotee who gets into the state where one involves equally in all above devotions
and never gets disturb with anything. This kind of devotion takes a worshipper's
mind and body beyond all the things and synchronises with Lord Ganesha. The
knowledge of self kind devotion is called as Atma-nivedan Bhakti.
Sage Shuka, Sage Mudgal were Atma-nivedan Bhakta of Lord Ganesha.
